Our Story
At Niteingales pet services, we are passionate about pets. We understand that pets are more than just animals – they are part of the family. That's why we treat every pet as if they were our own. We are a family run business with a wealth of experience with animals. Our groomer Gail has over 20 years experience working with dogs, starting her career as a kennel maid, qualifying as a dog trainer, running her business for over 15 years. She now brings her love of dogs and knowledge of different breeds and temperaments to her grooming and snack shack, having successfully worked with dogs turned away from other groomers
The grooming Pod and snack shack are located in a quiet road in the lovely moorland village of Pensilva. There's a free public carpark just a short walk from the Pod. Whilst you are waiting for your dog to be groomed, why not try out the local farm shop cafe or go for a stroll and take in the beautiful scenery. Don't forget to treat your dog to some lovely natural treats too.
As of November 2025 Rob, Gails husband is joining Gail. He often helps Gail either in the pod grooming. In the past he's helped out in Gail's training classes and of course our home boarding. Rob has worked with animals pretty much his whole life, so has a wealth of experience to bring to niteingales. We look forward to Rob joining the team for the dog walking and pet sitting, as well as doing our pet taxi service and delivering those tasty treats and food we offer.
